生活型

形態特徵

  • A shrub or small tree.
  • Leaves 15–40 cm long; leaflets (1-) 2–6 (–7) pairs; petiolules of lateral leaflets obsolete or up to 9 mm long; leaflet blades usually conspicuously oil-dotted, rather sparsely to densely pubescent below, ovate to elliptic or sometimes lanceolate, oblanceolate, or obovate, often rather inequilateral, 4.5–17 cm long, 2–8 cm wide, the apex acuminate, the ultimate veinlets rather loosely reticulate, obscure to rather conspicuous below (as seen under the lens).
  • Inflorescences 2.5–18 cm long. Flowers 5-merous (occasional flowers 4-merous); petals green to yellow or white, 3–5 mm long; ovary glabrous to sparsely hairy, ovules 2 per carpel; rudimentary carpels glabrous to sparsely hairy.
  • Follicles glabrous or sometimes sparsely hairy, subglobose, 3.5–6 mm long, the endocarp glabrous. Seeds 1 per follicle, ovoid or sometimes ellipsoid or subglobose, 3.5–5.5 mm long.
  • As seen in Taiwan, <i>Tetradium ruticarpum</i> has lateral petiolules up to 3 mm long, pubescent leaflet blades, and glabrous follicles.

分布

  • 台灣 : Middle altitude forest in Taiwan.
  • 世界 : Himalaya eastward to Taiwan.
